These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Sovereign Industry Report ("S.I.R.", "we", "us", or "our") at www.thesir.app. By accessing or using S.I.R., you agree to be bound by these Terms.

When you create an account on S.I.R., you agree to:

You agree not to use S.I.R. to:

- Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to extract data from the platform without authorization.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts, systems, or data.
- Upload malicious code, viruses, or any harmful material.
- Use the platform for any illegal activity.
4. Intellectual Property
The S.I.R. platform, including its design, code, branding, and original content, is owned by Sovereign Industry Report. All rights are reserved.
User-generated content (forum posts, chat messages, representative ratings, poll responses, and bug reports) remains your property. By posting content on S.I.R., you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to display, reproduce, and distribute your content on the platform as part of normal platform operation.
5. Legislative Data Disclaimer
S.I.R. aggregates legislative bill data from publicly available sources, including LegiScan and Open States.
- Legislative data is provided for informational purposes only and does not constitute legal advice.
- Bill statuses, text, and metadata may be delayed or incomplete compared to official state legislature records.
- S.I.R. generated bill summaries and classifications are produced at build time from publicly available legislative text. These summaries may contain inaccuracies and should not be relied upon as authoritative.
- Always verify legislative information with official state legislature websites and consult qualified legal counsel before making decisions based on bill data.
6. Limitation of Liability
S.I.R. is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis, without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sovereign Industry Report shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from:
- Your use of, or inability to use, the platform.
- Any inaccuracies in legislative data, S.I.R. generated summaries, or representative information.
- Decisions made based on information provided by the platform.
- Unauthorized access to or alteration of your data.
7. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we determine, in our sole discretion, violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.
You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at [email protected]. Upon termination, your right to use the platform ceases immediately.
8. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Tennessee, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts located in Tennessee.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Changes will be announced via a site notification. The "Effective date" at the top of this page will be updated accordingly. Your continued use of S.I.R. after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
